In November 2011, Target Net received a 2011 Magellan Award from Travel Weekly for its booking interface. The Magellan Awards are given annually to the best in the travel industry in categories from online travel services to hotels and resorts. According to the editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly, "recipients of the Magellans truly represent the best of the industry, and their accomplishments are inspiring." Find out more here.

In June 2011, The American Business Awards named The Knowland Group as the Best Overall Company of the Year (Other Industries) and CEO Michael K. McKean was recognized as Executive of the Year (Other Industries). Knowland was also a finalist for three more awards, Most Innovative Company of the Year (Up to 100 Employees), Customer Service Department of the Year and Fastest Growing Company of the Year (Up to 100 Employees). In May 2011, The Knowland Group was ranked as one of The Washington Business Journal’s Top 50 Best Places to Work in Greater Washington 2011. The rankings were based on employee satisfaction surveys and Knowland was commended by the WBJ team for placing a high importance on creating a great work environment and welcoming employee feedback. In January 2011, Target Net received Customer Interaction Solutions Magazine’s 2010 Product of the Year Award. The award is given annually to companies based on their vision, leadership and diligence. The magazine’s CEO said Target Net was chosen because the meetings management tool “demonstrated excellence and provided ROI for hotels across the country.” Find out more here.

In October 2010, The Knowland Group was ranked on the prestigious Deloitte 2010 Technology Fast 500™ list. The list identifies the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Rankings were based on the fiscal year revenue growth from 2005-2009, during which Knowland grew 5,764 percent. Find out more here.

In both 2009 and 2010, The Knowland Group was recognized as the second fastest growing company in the travel industry by Inc. Magazine. With a three year revenue growth of nearly 800 percent, Knowland was also ranked 379th on the list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
