Paid Time Off
Knowland offers substantial paid time off – or PTO – to our employees. They can use these days however they wish – from going on vacation to staying at home and getting caught up with their laundry. At the end of the year several weeks of unused PTO can be rolled over to the next year so employees can still make use of it later on.

Gym Reimbursement
Knowland is very involved in the health and wellness of its employees. We encourage everyone to take care of themselves and stay physically fit and even hold an annual Knowland Fitness Challenge. As part of these efforts, Knowland reimburses employees for their gym costs.

Trainer Dave
To further promote fitness, Knowland hired former Mr. Maryland Dave Kergaard as our corporate trainer. He is around to help employees cultivate and maintain healthy lifestyles. Kergaard uses his extensive fitness training experience to work with each employee individually. He helps them create a personal fitness plan that best suits their goals. He also writes a column in Knowland’s internal newsletter to provide advice, fitness tips, and ongoing motivation.

Tuition Reimbursement
At Knowland, we recognize that when employees further their education, they are improving upon the work being done at Knowland in addition to increasing their own career potential.
