Take advantage of a sales team that specializes in booking events at your hotel

Finding groups that would be perfect for your hotel isn’t worth much if you don’t have a sales team who can follow through. Let us do all the work for you. With every search result Insight generates, you’re given the option to Book this Group or Schedule a Sales Appointment. If you find a group that is perfect for your property and would like to speak with the group, select Schedule a Sales Appointment. We will track down the correct event planner and set up an appointment with them for you. All you have to do is show up! Or if you don’t have the time or manpower, select Book this Group. Our team will then contact the group’s event planner as your property’s representative and convince them why their next event should be held at your hotel.

As soon as we receive schedule and booking requests our team goes to work tracking down contact information and making the case for your hotel. We don’t stop until we get an answer for you. It is often that we have worked with a group before and know how to best approach them. Our sales team is so successful, we frequently have clients return to us year after year to set up appointments for sales blitzes, fill holes in a hotel’s bookings, and reach out to new groups. When you take Smart Targeted leads generated by Insight and pass them on to our Event Booking Center, the results are endless.

Dynamic pricing means you don’t pay too much

For each appointment request you make, we calculate what it will take for Knowland Associates to set up the appointment and come up with a onetime fee to set it all up for you. For booking requests, we collect an initial fee based on the same calculations. After we have successfully helped you book that group at your hotel, we charge a small 10 percent commission of consumed room nights for that event minus your initial fee.

Checking out and checking up on your requests

Every appointment and booking request you make gets added to your monthly invoice. You can keep track of all your purchases by going to your shopping cart. Here you will find your booking and appointment request totals. There is also a list of each request with group details, who made the request and when, and options to delete the request. After each request will be other similar groups you may also be interested in with their compatibility scores.

What to know how your request is going? Simply click EBC Requests and all your ongoing booking and appointment requests will be listed there. Here you can view the status of this request and when it was last updated. You can click on the group name to see a detailed communication history of our interaction with the group as well as a message board where you can send a message to the Knowland Associated handling your request.
