Insight Express offers hoteliers the same trusted lead generation of regular Insight. It connects hotel sales teams with the world’s largest database of groups with event booking needs so they can find groups that are perfectly suited to the property.

The easy-to-use, Google search engine is the same: use the search bar to explore our database and bring back only the results you want. Each result includes vital information about a group, such as the name, address, distance from your property and number of past events held. The groups are pinpointed on the map along with your property’s location for reference. As with regular Insight, after you decide which groups to pursue, you can print out the group data, which includes contact information for the meeting planner. Or you can assign the group to a member of your sales team and that person will receive an email with the necessary information. To pursue more groups, simply click on the Show Groups in Vicinity to find additional leads nearby.

Multiple Search Options

Insight Express includes intuitive Advanced Search options. The tool allows you to narrow your results nearly a dozen ways. Search for groups based on market, industry segment, estimated number of attendees and more.

Two unique search features of Insight Express are Express Search and Overflow Search. Express Search allows hoteliers to explore our vast database to find groups that have held events at express and limited service properties, such as board meetings, training events, catering only events and reoccurring events. The group overview includes tabs for the number of events held, how many square feet were used and the date of the last event. The Overflow Search option is to find groups that have held large-scale events so express and limited service properties can pursue the overflow business during their next event. The Overflow Search tab also includes the group overview with the number of events held, how many square feet were used and the date of the last event.

In addition to these great search features, Insight Express gives hotel sales teams the option of having a Knowland research professional find out a group’s Local Negotiated Rate (LNR) so you can counter-offer and undercut the competition to get more business for your property.
