Using this feature your sales team can learn the entire event booking history of the group, from how many attendees they usually have to how much square feet they use and what time of the week they meet. This history is an invaluable tool in determining the future event booking behavior of groups. Having trouble booking midweek events? Find a group that normally meets then and fill that hole. Have a lot of extra meeting space? Look to see what groups are using the largest square footage. Now you can follow through on leads with the confidence only insightful data can provide.
See a breakdown of the group’s compatibility based on key indicators
Also included is an analysis of the group’s compatibility with your property based on region, price, brand, amenities and many other characteristics. Simply select what qualities are important to you and Insight does all the work by combing through our immense database and finding groups that fit your preferences. So if an organization has held half of their events at your brand, they receive a 50 percent score for brand. If a business always holds their conferences in your region, they get a 100 percent score for that indicator. With one quick glance you can tell whether a group is a good match for your hotel.

A good sales team always builds on the leads they have. That’s why once you find a lead you like, Insight shows you other groups with similar scores on the indicators you said were most important. So if price, region, and size are the most important indicators to you, Insight will locate groups that scored the same on those three indicators. With each compatible group you find, six more can be added to the list.
