One of our core values is the belief that business technology should be easy to use and even a little bit fun. When software products take weeks of training and levels upon levels of certification, their value is limited. That’s why we’ve put so much effort into ensuring that Insight is as intuitive and straightforward as possible. By partnering with Google, we use a template for our search engine that everyone is familiar with. We have worked to make Insight more engaging by color coding text and using icons that are easily understood. We have made further details expandable or collapsible to help keep things organized.
And we are always adding features to making using Insight just a little bit more fun to use. Most recently we have created a contact section that includes photos and links to Facebook and Twitter accounts of group event planners. Because the easier and more fun Insight becomes, the more you’ll use it!

Set up indicators for Smart Targeting scores
When determining each group’s compatibility scores, Insight uses the preferences you set to compare your property to the group’s prior events. This means that you can easily see if groups are looking for what your hotel has to offer. The rating indicators are initially set to your property’s standard characteristics, including geographic area, price, brand and amenities. Each indicator can be set as extremely important, important, somewhat important and not important. We then use that ranking to weight each indicator.
So if you say it is extremely important that groups have used luxury hotels for their events in the past, those that have done so will receive a higher compatibility rating. If the amenities offered are not important to you, that indicator will not be used when calculating a group’s compatibility rating. Later if you decide your event bookings for the month of May are looking light, you can change the time of year indicator to May and rate it as extremely important. That way groups that meet often in May will have a higher compatibility rating when you search.
Manage users with ease
Managing the users on your Insight account is simple. Any user information can be edited at any time including name, email, password, and whether or not the use is an administrator. You may have as many users as you wish at no extra charge and more can be added at any time. Each hotel and user within that hotel can experience their own individualized Insight.
